In a world of social media, it is easy to lose sight of the huge power of small.
iThemba Lethu is a great organisation because everyday they wake up and do one thing really, really well. Serve seemingly small needs of children. And they do that in the hardest, arguably most hostile place in KZN. Isn't that greatness?
We'd love to serve you in 2024
Join the MISSION ✍️:
We believe stories can save the world...
Sesame Street was designed to increase the literacy of inner-city toddlers, and it worked. Kids who watch Sesame Street are about 5% better off academically than those who don't. Soul City was designed to reduce HIV/AIDS in South Africa way back in 1992, and it has worked too. Wonderfully. The Barbie movie was designed to gently dismantle misogyny and that worked, right? Stunningly well.
Join us on our weekly mission to tap the hidden power stories hold to dismantel inequalities in South Africa.
